I'm helping my best friend with her shower.. and I need some game ideas. I've been to a few showers but none had any games.

some of the typical games that ppl play are...
1: diaper game - you take a few diapers...and melt different types of chocolate in them...and people have to guess what type of chocolate it is...
2: molding game -- pick up some play dough and everyone gets placed into team and one member of each team gets a card (baby related), and they have to use the play dough to make that item and their team members have to guess it.
3: guess the date of the baby's birth. you create a calendar of the month that the baby is expected to be born, place a star on the 'expected date'..and every pays like $5 to place a guess on which day and time the baby will actually come out. the person who guessed the closest to the actual time/day of the birth wins the pot.

ooohhh i have so many!
name the nursery rhyme
count the diaper pins in the bottle
baby shower bingo (everyone gets blank bingo card and fills in the boxes with gifts, as the mommy to be opens gifts, you cross them off your bingo card)
you can ask everyone to bring a baby pic...and then have each guest guess who is who in the pics...whoever guesses the most wins
guess the tummy size
everyone cut a piece of ribbon they think will be big enough to go around mommys belly

oh, and another game that we played... was..
if someone brings a diaper cake, guess how many diapers are in the cake...
theres another nursery rhyme game here and some puzzles too all free!

baby bingo! I made it myself for FSIL's shower... if you FM me your email I'll email you everything you need for it.. actually I'll email you EVERYTHING i have game wise, like word scramble, Baby Shower Right and Baby Shower Left and finish the rhyme.

there is this one game where you get these small clothes pins and everyone at the shower gets like 5 to start and anytime someone mentioned the word 'Baby' and some calls you out on it, they get to take your pin from you. This is fun because it can be played throughout the entire shower and usually at the end of the night the winner gets a small something as a prize.

My sisters shower is this weekend!
We are playing:
Price is right - a basket filled with lots of baby products; J&J shampoo, a pack of pacifiers, creams, lotions, ocks, etc........each table has to guess the price as a table and whichever table wins, gets a price (each person)
Then we are also doing 'Dirty Diaper'......we have about 75 dirty diapers and a few of them have 'poop' stains (brown felt).....each person picks out a diaper and opens it up and whoever finds the poop wins!
we have a baby scratch off game which will be at each persons seat when they arrive.....
Jellybeans - we filled clear glass babybottles with pink, blue, yellow and green jellybeans......one winner from each table will win if they guess closest!

Bottle Races: (Materials- Baby bottles with Milk or alternate drink). Have each participant take a bottle filled with a liquid and s uck the bottle as a baby would. The woman who drinks the most in an alloted time wins the baby shower gift.
'B' is for Baby: Each woman is told to write the babies Mom-To-Be and Father-To-Be's name on a paper going vertically down the page. Next to each letter of both names, create a word that is baby related or things that kids like. The one who guesses the most words that are the same as the mother-to-be wins a prize.
Guess the food: Buy different kinds of baby food, take the lables off and have everyone sample the food to determine what it is. The one who guesses the most correctly, wins.

The dirty diaper game. you color in the inside of a paper diaper in either yellow or brown marker, Everyone gets pinned with a diaper and they are not supposed to open it until the end. And as the guests start to leave you ask them to open their diaper and the guest with the dirty diaper wins a prize.
