one of our patients lost her baby at 38 weeks- no reason = ( so heart breaking- she was suppose to have a c-section on friday. I was sick to my stomach the last 2 days!
Then today we find out one of our patients who was in Thursday who had her baby 6 weeks ago- got hit coming out of her car the next day and was killed. Her 6 week old and 2 yr old were in the car- she was so sweet. She was in 2 a week so we got to know her. Its a horrible thing. My nephews were turning 1 and 2 when they lost my sister-- hopefully they don't remember that day-
sad weeek

omg that is terrible! Both situations are equally heart breaking but I feel so bad for the women who lost her baby at 38 weeks. She was probably so excited that her baby was going to be born soon. I can not even imagine the pain she must be going through

So sad but hearing these stories puts in perspective how minor some of our problems are. My heart goes out to you and your patients families.

OMG! This woman I work with told me about that today. That woman was her sister's neighbor. :( . Apparently the driver was texting took his eyes off the road. It's soo heartbreaking. The EMT that answered the call was her brother in law. I can't even begin to imagine how painful that would have been to see.

I heard it was an old lady that vered out of the way of a UPS truck and the road is so narrow didn't see her. Not sure though. Just heard that from a girl I work with that her bf is a Emt down there. Yea (the lady that got hit) her brother in law answered the call. grrrr
