NWR - baptism gift protocol?

FH and I got invited to a baptism for our friends' daughter, but neither of us have been invited to one before. What is the protocol for a gift? We want to do something nice for them, but I'm totally in the dark about what is appropriate here.

thanks in advance!

I've always given money as a gift. Most parents like to set up a savings account for their children.

Usually money. God parents usually do a cross for them and the rest give money for the baby's future. If you're not really close to them, like immediate relatives (siblings) I'd go with a check written out to the baby.

Money. Or some type of keepsake. I once got my friends daughter a beautiful snow globe that was engraved because she decorated the nursery with a snow globe theme. You can't go wrong with a savings bond or something along those lines.

I think money is what is usually given.
