NWR - Bar/Restaurant recommendation in Bayside area

so i am planning a night out for my friend's birthday. she wants to keep it local. i know there is alot on bell blvd. but i haven't been there in ages. I know they renovated Donovans. anybody been there since they re-opened??

I haven't been inside donovans since the renovation but it looks really nice from the outside. You can also try okinawa, it's a hibachi grill/ japanese restaurant which could be a lot of fun to do for a birthday and then you can just walk to one of the bars after.

eta: cascarino's and erewan are also really good!

whats driving me crazy is i could swear there is a mexican bar. not tequila sunrise. i think its by luckys.. but i don't remember the name of it.
