Anyone who has taken BC pills knows you are supposed to take them about the same time every day. But what happens with Daylight Savings Time? I take mine every day at 4pm, but does this mean now I should start taking them at 3pm or continue to take them at 4? Or does this not matter?
I haven't been on BC for about 3 years, so pardon me for forgetting and needing to ask this!

Re: NWR: BC pills & Daylight savings
haha that is a great question I would take them at 3pm if you want them to be the 99.9% effective they are known to be, but if you are truly stuck on the whole 4pm thing I would go for it but know that it may change the effectiveness the first month. haha I am honestly all about the neva ring! once a month

I'm anal, so I would take it at 3 instead... lol but I really don't think an hour matters too much

delaying your pill for an hour one day isnt going to do much to its effectiveness- id keep it the same time.

Yep. So whatever works for you - 3pm or 4pm is fine.

Re: NWR: BC pills & Daylight savings
I'd keep taking them at 4. Also, I just took mine before I went to bed. So if I went to bed at 8pm, I'd take it then, if I went to bed at 2am, I'd take it then. And in 6 years, I never had a problem.

It would only matter for one day though...and after that, the next day would be back to normal.

I would take it at 4pm...an hour isn't going to do anything. I take mine at noon, but sometimes I don't take it till the evening and I get my period like clock-work on Tuesday mornings.

The reason the dr. tells you to get on a schedule is so that you remember to take it around the same time everyday. An hour difference will not cause any changes or hinder it's effectiveness.

I used to take my pills at all different times. Never got pregnant. Could be just luck though.

I'm the same way... I'm not as much a slave to the clock with it as a slave to my pattern of behavior. I used to do when I woke up in the morning... now I do right before bed, but I'm VERY rarely in the same hour since I go to bed at different times every night. (then again, I ALWAYS use back up because I'm paranoid, so maybe you can't go by me! lol)
