so i'm having a hard time finding bedding i like to register for. after we get married we are changing the carpet in our bedroom and changing the color of the walls. i figured if i fell in love with bedding than that would be how i determine my bedroom color scheme. No such luck! well actually, i like sage and brown but john veto'd that.
what color is your bedroom? or what color do you want/plan it to be?

my fav color is green, so FH wants to paint the room nice light green when we will finally get our own apt. right now my sheets are either bright red, or sky blue ( a present from my parents for engagement). I alternate by mood
I also think that burgundy and chocolate is a great combo. tried it at a store, and fell in love. it looked so hommy and inviting!

Right now my bedroom is yellow with a green and blue border. It works because I can always find a lot of blue/green/yellow things.

You've seen our bedroom, its like a light mocha brown color. The bedding that I picked out is blue and brown, Daryn won't let me pick anything out that is too girl or anything green

our bedroom now is WACK.. white walls..brown curtain.. blue plaid comforter.. dorm room like lol we were soo poor when we bought the place, so our furniture were pieces from criagslist and stuff we already had
right now im redecorating the entire house.
the bedroom im painting white again, the back wlal where the headboard will be is going to be a nice lavender..
black wood furniture.. the headboard will be leather.
who cares if its 'girly'.. i dont believe any1 should be going into our bedroom. i view the bedroom as PRIVATE space. onlyw hen we have a lot of ppl over we just throw their coats on the bed. but thats it!

My bedroom has cream colored walls and a gray carpet. The carpet was there when we moved in, and we never changed it. But we re-painted the walls because they were originally an ugly dark color.

We painted our room a blue, i would say ocean blue, maybe a bit darkers. I've been looking for a bedspread in the brown-color family. And our carpet is brand new, its beige color.

We currently have white walls, but I'm thinking of going with a light blue. I like light blue and brown and our furniture is a darker brown so I think it would flow good...
We've been trying to paint the appt for 2 years BTW

Awww thanks! It's a little different now though. We have two black scarves over the window, so instead of knotted in the middle, there's a black sash coming down the middle. We also have different nightstand lamps. And I'm leaving the wall above the headboard empty now so that I can put my 20x24 wedding picture up there

our current bedroom has the most awful wall paper & rug that you have ever seen. FH jokes around & says that when you walk into that part of the apartment it looks like you walked into The Max from Saved By The Bell. seriously its that bad. we never bothered redoing it because its only a temp apartment & no one else sees the bedroom but us. we did paint our kitchen & living room earlier because it also looked like The Max (i will have to take pictures tonight so everyone can see how bad it was/is).
in our new bedroom we will have to do something very natural since our 2 bedding sets that we registered for are completely different.
