My FH got me a laptop for Christmas. He wants me to take it to Best Buy and pay them $130 for them to install an antivirus program, spy sweeper and to do '100 agent enhancements' which Fh said is removing popups and annoying reminders, etc. Has anyone ever done this? Is it worth the money? I can buy the programs myself and just install them, but FH is concerned that I can't do the enhancements.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Re: NWR: Best Buy Geek Squad Reviews?
I haven't use the Geek Squad for software issues, I have used them for hardware issues and they s*ck. They had my laptop for 3 months! They gave it back to me twice and I still have the same problem. It got to a point where my warranty was expired but they assure me that as long as I dropped of my laptop before the expiration it's fine. I didn't have to pay for anything, but I would save your money and do it yourself or use someone else.
