NWR: Birth control

NWR: Birth control

sorry girls, I just feel like I have to talk to someone....
I have been on the same b.control for like 9 years.
This past month I lost my pack 2 pills in and was forced to use a new brand (Yasmin) that my dr gave a few mo back as a sample in case I wanted to try a new brand.
Anyway, the past few days I have been so on edge and just...angry.

Im nasty to everyone. Even at this moment I feel my hands getting tensed up with anger and for no reason.
Could this be from the new pill?
(And no Im not due for my . for antoher 2 weeks)

that happened to me when I first started on the pill. I was like a mad woman. I couldn't stand being the way I was, I would have mood swings like crazy.

I went and changed pills and it's 100% different and much, much, much better.

Hang in there --

i know. Its crazy! Like I mentioned b4, Ive been on the same pill forever! Do you think the way Ive been feeling can be caused from the change?
i HATE it!

It can be 100% from the new pill. I was on the same for like 10 years and my doctor put me on Loestrin 24. I was a moody C U Next Tuesday if you know what I mean. I was terrible, I could not even stand to be around myself.

I went back on my old one.

Stick to what works is my theory

I am not on BC but tried Ortho tri cyclen and and Yas and wasnot happy with both. Ortho made me naucious the first 5-7 days I started a new pack and I tok it for a few months and Yas made me emotional and gain weight. In conclusion they mess with our bodies, some goood and some bad

I agree... I've been on the same pill for over 10 years and never had a problem. Might as well stick to what your body knows.

yes it can be from the pill. when i first went on the pill i just cried for no reason and then i would be laughing and everyone said it should be better after a few months......it didnt so they put me on a different one which was fine. but everyone reacts differently. so im sure it will get better for you.

It could be. When my sister was on the pill she was a b!tch on wheels....would rip you a new one if you looked at her the wrong way....cranky ALL the time...........She stopped taking it.

Yeah I agree it can be the new pills. I know certain pills just cause a bad reaction with you and then your old one has worked for you.

My friend had a bad reaction to Yas, she switched from her regular pill to Yas and it gave her a cyst (sp?) and her period would spot but never flowed after she switched back to her old pill everything was back to normal.

Yes it can definitely be your BCP....I had that happen to me when the drug store filled my RX generically...I was crazy for two months straight. FH begged me to go back to my regular prescription!

Yes, it could most certainly be the pill...

It can alter your hormone levels and all that-- and make you moody or emotional.

Although, I am on Yasmin myself and feel totally normal and I never had that 'biitch on wheels' experience (lol) but everyone reacts to pills differently. My sister got VERY sick on Yasmin- yet for me, it was the only one that worked and didn't make me balloon up from bloating...

So, I would stick with what is best for you.

You should definitely stick with what works best and I'm sure your doctor would agree.

I'm on Yasmin and I don't have a problem, but I was previously on something else and it made me bloated and break out a lot.
