ok so i dropped my tuesday white pill (orthotricyclen lo) down the sick by accident (ok stop laughing) so i took wednesdays pill but then does that mean i missed a pill? girls did this ever happen to u and if it has what did ya do?

I'm not familiar with that kind of pill, I take a different one, but for me white is the sugar pill, which means no hormones, no nothing..if the same is true for you, you can miss it since it's not really anything..hope this helps!! If you missed a genuine pill, i would say call the dr...take care!

Im not sure which pill that is, I use yasmine, and the white pill in yasmine means you're inactive week/the week you have ur period. I never lost a pill. I have dropped it, but found it. I have skipped it if I forgot to pick it up at the pharmacy but took it the very next day. You should be OK if you miss 1 pill, but if you're not using another form of contraceptive, be careful or consult your dr. I think you should be ok, but call ur dr anyway.
And never ever take a pill over the sink or in the bathrm.It will always drop in the sink or toilet [ewwww]. Keep it on your nightable, or in your purse!

If its not your sugar pill/inactive pill call your dr. If you try to refill the perscription before the 30 days your insurance wont cover it, but Im sure you Dr will have a sample pack that you can have. You cant miss and of the active pills

Don't worry jen, this just means that you will get your period one day earily, just start your next pack as you normally would :) no harm no foul lol!
ETA: Just finish the pack, you should be fine. If your really worried, you can call your doc, and she will probably tell you the same thing

i used to be on a tri-hormone bc. if i ever lost a pill i would just take the next days. it shouldnt really mess anything up as long as you take one pill each day and dont skip a day at all. your body can regulate even though technically you spent 7 days on two hormones and 6 days on another. ive never ever had a problem with that and my cycle has never been effected either. ive since switched to a single hormone pill just cause of less side effects. good luck!
