Why shouldn't you skip on ortho tri cyclen? I was planning on skipping

because it is best to skip on the level ones - not a change in hormones

I would spot a lot when i skipped on ortho tri cylean - there is a larger change in hormones between the pills -

i think the idea of using two sets of pills would work though -keep the hormne more consistent - need two packs which can be hard to get together insurance reasons

What do you mean use two packs? Do two weeks in a row of each color? I get three packs at a time with my insurance, so that isn't an issue...Should I try to do this now, before the wedding, so I am not skipping and possibly spotting then? Are there any other side effects?

i would try it now and see if you have no problem skipping - some people do

yeah take two weeks of each color beside the placebo

Since this is what I do for a living ..... you may want to try the patch since it gives a continious dose of hormones and i would try gradually increasing the weeks with out a period. Definitely don't wait till the last minute since spotting is a comon side effect while your body is acclimating itself
