NWR- birthday cards

i am crazy about birthday cards & i spend hours in the store looking for the perfect card for each person every year. so last night i was writting out this stack of cards & i started thinking to myself what a waste it is because once my birthday rolls around no one ever sends me a card. & i love cards. i think they are so much more personal then just a text or on-line message.

so i was wondering do any of you ladies like to receive birthday cards from friends or is a myspace or facebook message just enough????

I am just like you. I love B'day cards. I look for the perfect card for each person and if I cant find one in the first store I go to I will go somewhere else. As long as someone gives me card for my b'day I dont care if I get a gift.

a card is so much more important to me then a gift. a couple of years ago FH didn't get me a card for my birthday & i went crazy. i nagged him for a couple of days until he bought me one. he got me one in the shape of a pickle just to annoy me. but also bought me a super nice one too. i have every card i have ever received saved.

I know everyone just myspace messages 'happy bday' but for my friends that i still keep in touch with that live in other states, i personally send them a birthday card in the mail as well...

i miss getting snail mail!

I'm the same way. I love getting cards in the mail and giving them instead of facebook and myspace messages. And I get happy bday messages from people online that I haven't talked to in years. It's so weird.

I love getting cards. I get FH cards for every holiday...and he always forgets to get me one. I get so mad b/c the card means more than a gift

I love bday cards..I think they're fun.

I never buy people appropriate cards. I either buy them one from the kids section..or like congrats on your retirement or something that makes no sense. that's just me. Or I buy cards that were made for kids..those are the best.
