Do you guys buy your books or rent them from the library? If you do buy them, do you keep them after you finish them?

I used to buy and keep the all but then it got out of hand with me and FH so now we just rent.

we have like 4 bookshelves that are stuffed to the max and every so often we go thru and take older stuff to FILs to put in their garage
FH has a kindle now but I loooove the smell and feel of books and keep them always- but I occasionally will give them away to friends or donate a bunch to make room for more

Yeah, I think I'd feel rushed to read it or something if I rented. I just have soooo many books that I'll prob never look at again, so I don't know if I want to add to it. Maybe I'll donate some that I have.

I do both, of course when new books come out you can never get them at the library so I end up buying them or borrowing them from a friend. I always keep whatever book I buy.

Definitely Buy and Keep. Sometimes I lend them out, but then I don't always get them back
