NWR: Book recs?

I am buying some CDs from Barnes and Noble ( including the Danity Kane CD!) and figured I should get some books for my flights to and from Italy.

Has anyone read any good books lately? Fiction or non fiction - I am willing to give almost anything a try!

THANK YOU!

OMG! The funniest book by Laura Wolf... Diary of a Mad Bride! You must read it. Hilarious.
Ps. I Love you by Cecila Ahern - good read too.

Bel Canto by Anne Patchett - it's one of those books where, when you get towards the end, you start reading slower because you don't want it to be over.

if you like fun, no brain required books like i do when i'm on vacation...i recommend anything by Sophie Kinsella or Marian Keyes.

I tend to read books that nobody seems to like!

There is an anthology that I just finished called BLUE BEYOND BLUE. It is a collection of 'weird' fairy tales. I really liked it.

I also like Range Of Motion by Elizabeth Berg.

All time favorite? Wuthering Heights.

Ooh, yes, Last Chance Saloon by Marian Keyes is a great vacation book - not too taxing on the brain, but a real page-turner and very funny.

Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden- sooo good!!

I like the other books people have recommended on here as well, but they are very 'mindless.' (not that this is always a bad thing)

Daughter of fortune and Portriait in Sepia by Isabel Allende were also excellent books.

I also really enjoyed the Kite Runner.
