Has anyone had boots custom made? If so would you recommend the place you used?

Why is it a funny question? I am looking for a place to make boot like in the picture b/c my calfs are very thin and the actual designer's boot is too wide. I was given the list of a few places that make custom shoes but was wondering if anybody had actuall used a place before.

I haven't used them yet but I'm going to order a pair this winter

I have the same problem---I have a friend that took boots to a shoemaker and he was able to resize them. That's probably what I'm going to do this year.

I tried that but they can only take in so much and my leg is too small. Thanks.
