Is anyone else watching the news right now? I seriously feel like I live in a Batman movie. Unreal!

NWR: Boston Marathon
This is such a tragedy. My heart goes out to all those injured and the families of the people who lost their lives. It's a sad state in the world when we can't even participate in recreational activities without being scared of people hurting us.
I hope we all tell our loved ones how important they are to us and take time each day to be thankful that we are safe.

I just heard that one of the people that died is an 8 year old child. So sad.
My brother's girlfriend goes to school about 10 minutes from here and she said they were able to hear the bombs exploding on campus. Thankfully, she's safe. I really hope they can figure out who is behind this horrible tragedy.

This whole thing makes me sick. I saw it on the news right after it happened and it was all unedited footage. It was disgusting what they're allowed to show on the news.

My sister in law was watching the news with my three year old niece. Yeah not stuff she should see.

You should see the stuff they show in other countries! American news is so censored compared to other places in the world...The internet was pretty good with censoring the gore - I was watching the live feed on Yahoo & CNN and any time someone posted up pictures of people missing limbs/graphic images, they were removed right away.
I still can't believe this happened. I'm speechless.

This is disgusting. I have no idea what to say except for what's wrong with humanity? I didn't even want to turn on the TV and watch b/c it would just be too horrific. I can't imagine what those people are going through. M thoughts and prayers are with them.
The ONLY positive is that stories are starting to filter out about all of the heroes who immediately went to help. No matter how horrible something is, there will always be good people there.

What's going on?! Going to try to read about it now, FH just told me briefly. I'm getting more and more worried about bringing a child into this world with all of this craziness.
I feel the same way! Just really makes you think about what kind of world our children and grand-children and beyond will be living in :(
