NWR - Brita Water Pitcher

Does anyone have one? Can you really taste a difference or does it really still taste like tap water?

TIA

i can tell the difference... my parents had the pitcher when i lived with them... and now with fh, i use the brita filter that attaches to the facet...

if you really want to see a difference, make ice cubes with tap water and then with brita... the brita cubes comes out alot clearer

Yes I have one and swear by it. I HATE the taste of regular tap water and the Brita tastes very different. Just make sure that you change the filters often.

i personally like the faucet better... we make iced tea alot... and it takes so much longer to do when using the pitcher... but the replacements for the faucet one are more expensive, but they last about 3 months... i think i paid $30 for a 2 pack... it also has an indicator light on it too to tell you when to replace

I have loved Brita since I was little! I was at my aunt's house and raved about her water and they explained to me why it tasted different and from then on my whole family got pitchers... but I use the faucet too

Make sure before you buy the faucet Brita that it will actually fit....our lasttwo apartments the faucets were older and it wouldn't screw in....

We use the pitcher and I think it makes a big difference!!

DH says 'h e l l yea' He used to use one, I was the water bottle drinker. For a shower gift, we got a countertop water cooler 2 gals-hot,cold and room temp water, so we no longer use the brita.

There's definitely a difference. I grew up with the Brita pitcher, so we registered for the same....I'm debating switching to the faucet one because it seems more convenient. FH thinks I'm crazy and it's a waste, and thinks tap water is fine, but he also grew up in one of the best water districts on the island, so he doesn't really count lol. But I vouch for Brita...I think it's great.
