NWR: BRITNEY SPEARS!!?!?!!

Did anyone check out her perfomance at the VMA's tonight? She looked stiff...as if she didn't know how to dance & she was totally lip synching(sp?)!!!!!!!!

First off she has been a complete train wreck but her body does not look bad. So people need to lay off of that,
but seriously?!
Her performance was a joke, she used to be an amazing dancer she forgot how ?? She barely moved and didn't even try to follow the words as she was pretend singing!!! I thought her performance was such a joke.

Sarah Silverman totally hit below the belt with the baby jokes but I did laugh

She looked sooo lost. She looked liked she never danced before. It appeared as if she was on something. It was such a bad performance. It was a good thing she backed out on doing something with Justin Timberlake because she would have just messed it up for him.

If you're going to lip synch at least try to keep up with the lyrcis...they're your lyrics.

That joke about prettiest mistakes referring to Britney's children was wrong, you can't blame the children for the parents they have.

I just saw the performance online so I have a question for those that saw it on tv - was she dancing stiffly??? It seemed like she had no facial expressions and was out of it.

I feel bad for her. I think she should have gotten new 'people' and actually listen to them this time.

I really wanted her to have a kick a$$ performance tonight because she really needs it. I figured her new single is doing pretty well (I personally love it) and this could be her come back. I think she looked amazing, ESPECIALLY after having 2 kids. But I agree, she barely moved and looked lost. I think this was too big of a performance to be her first one back in the light. She should have been doing smaller performances leading up to this so she was ready. And it was her first time performing Gimme More. When was the last time she did a huge performance like this? Despite some of the crap she's pulled and done, I really hope she can bounce back.

so... I just saw her in a mag last week... and she DID NOT LOOK LIKE THAT... Maybe she couldn't dance becuase she possibly had work done for the proformance? I don't know...

Overall.. yes it was not her best, maybe even her worst but I think she had great guts coming out and doing that again.

It is only the 2nd time I have heard the song, and it is getting kind of catchy!

I have to say...I LOVED Britney...I was a huge fan and last night was a total let down. I wish she would get it together! Her dance routines used to be awesome and last night was just so pathetic.

Poor Poor Britney...

She is trying SO hard to make a comeback..but I really think she is over. Its so sad to watch.

She looked like HELL last night - It was like she totally didn't care about performing. She has been through a lot in her life, but I really think she needs to take a breather from the spotlight, everyone really needs to respect her privacy and she needs to get her life together.

She piqued way too early and never regaiined normalcy....

Poor thing - can you imagine your life being 'over' at 25? I was really rooting for her to kick *ss last night and she just looked a mess.

I feel for her kids too - what kind of childhood are they having? its terrible.

Yea I agree with this one. She was off with her lip syncign and that nervous hair touching throughout the whole piece was weird, like she didn't know where she was. But as far as her body and outfits-she has ALWAYS done Risque stuff. The Baby one More time was covered but a cathlic school girl outfit so come on lol like thats not every guys fantasy;a legal school girl and that other one with the painted on red catsuit? She was trying to be her old self and for two kids later, she looked damn good. But I think she should have gone slower witht he comeback because people were expecting her to fail and she just gave them a whole lot more ammunition to use. I feel sorry for her. She is a mess but i hope she bounces back.
