I was going to get my sisters, tickets to Wicked for a thank you for being in the wedding, but there are no good seats for the next 4 months. What other shows are good?

I agree, I loved Hairspray!
Or how about Little Women-sounds like a good thing for sisters!
Also, go to Broadway Box to see if there are any discounts available for the show you decide on.

Re: NWR - Broadway Shows
I loved Dirty Rotten Schoundrels!!!! It was so funny!!!! That would be my first recommendation. Other ideas....
La Cage ( enjoyed it ) All Shook Up ( have heard it is really cute) Avenue Q (really funny) Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (it has a flying car) Little Women (it was just okay for me) Spamalot ( pretty good, but you might have problems getting tickets) Good Vibrations (I have heard it is okay) Mamma Mia ( cute and fun)
Non-musicals
The Pillowman (chilling and funny, but pretty heavy) Who's Afraid of Virgina Woolf? (I have heard only great things about this show. Kathleen Turner is suppose to be brillant) Streetcar Named Desire (a classic) Doubt (great show) 12 Angry Men ( great show)

Avenue Q (the source of my chat icon) and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels are both hilarious. I also heard great things about Putnam County Spelling Bee.
Definitely check Broadway Box before you buy a thing. The have so many promotional coupons. Let us know what you decide to see!

There are so many, but I would go with AVENUE Q if you want them to laugh!

Well what does she like?
I'm in the minority on Wicked. Great effects but thin plot line.
If you want a 'girlie show' tickets to see Mamma Mia would be great. Gets them up and dancing.
Last show I saw was 'Spam-a-lot'. Great for Python fans but they are harder to come by.
'Blue Man Group' is fun.

Just saw this last week and it was AMAZING! I highly recommend it. Delta Burke, Marsha Mason, Rebecca Geyhardt, they were all wonderful.

Me too! I agree, it was really excellent.
I might be in the minority here, but I found Mama Mia to be terrible.
