Does anyone know how I can get good seats to a Bway show for cheaper? I want to take my 6 yr. old niece to see the Little Mermaid on 5/8 or 5/9 but I cant afford to pay over 200 for both of us and since this is the first time going to a Bway show I want her to have the best seats possible. And she's tiny so I dont want her to not be able to see the stage. How can I get discount tix but GOOD seats!
I know they have those stands in Times Square. How does that whole thing work???

Re: NWR: Broadway Tickets
the stands in time square... you go the day of the show and 'hope and pray' they have tickets to the show you want to see and that the seats are the type you are looking for.
you can also try doing this... go to a local college theater department, most have little slips of paper that look like bookmarks, Shows send them with a discount code, that are good for certain dates. It's like getting a group rate, without needing the group.

Re: NWR: Broadway Tickets
this is hit or miss, but if you're not set on seeing one particular show, you should try it...my fh and i always go about two hours before the show starts and do the lottery...you put your name in and they pick a bunch of people to see the show first and second row for 25 dollars each...we usually get chcosen bc they have a good amount of seats and not that many people go...if not, we use his student id from years ago and get 25 dollar tickets that way...you have to go directly to the show's ticket booth. HTH!

Oh wow! I would do that with DH but probably not with my niece. She would be so disappointed if we didnt get the tickets! But that sounds great!
