NWR: Brooklyn Brides I need your help!

Soo I am volunteering at PS 230 on Friday through work for Junior Achievement Day. It is on 1 Albemarle Road
Brooklyn, NY 11218 from 8:30 to about 1

It's 20 minutes from my house if I drive but about an hour and a half if I take public transportation. I'm going to call tomorrow and ask someone at the school but figured it couldn't hurt to ask here too. Anyone have any inpout on that location and know how the parking is on a weekday? I feel like I'm under the impression that parking in Brooklyn is impossible but am I just being a sheltered Staten Islander lol? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!!

FH went to school there! lol Its a few blocks from his house. He said you should be able to find a spot but it might be a few blocks away b/c teachers park around the school. I would say maybe to try and get there a little earlier to play it safe. Hope it works out! lol Parking in Brooklyn can be a pain!!

no idea where that is lol, but chances are you wont find parking (or at least not that easily!!)

FH works in Brooklyn Heights and gets there by 6:45 am..Starting at 7 there are all sorts of regulations and everyone is moving cars.
It's not impossible but it will definitely be annoying.

Theres an amazing website called Bestparking.com, and it will give you every parking garage's rate, specials, etc.
I've never used it in Brooklyn but for Manhattan it is SO HELPFUL and I always find good rates-even if it is a walk.
Worth a shot.

Its in the Kensington area...not too bad to find parking there... right off Dahill Rd and McDonald Avenue. I used to live 3 blocks from there. You should be fine. Give yourself about 15 min. to find parking if anything.
