I worked at a Doctor's office in Bklyn and one of the patients had used it. I am not sure which one or anything like that but she said it worked. I think they have a woman's version of it right?

i'm not sure how well rogaine works but i've heard it's a lot of work. there is a pill that your doctor can prescibe that i know works well (for men at least). you should ask your doctor

My sister used garlic shampoo in the summer when she swims...her hair gets so thin and she says it works well. I am scared it will smell.

My hair fell out when i was 18 and I used Rogaine for women. My hair came back but I'm not sure if it was the Rogaine that helped. I had lost a lot of weight and it could have been that.
I started losing my hair again 3 months ago (11 years after the first incident but I wasn't dieting this time) and just started using Rogaine again last month.

You may want to try it. You have to use it twice a day though and it will take several months to see anything. It's kind of annoying but worth it if it helps.

Fh uses it and it made a HUGE difference. He was really losing a lot of hair and has regrown a lot.

Also - once you stop using it - the hair is supposed to fall out again. I thin my hair loss is due to stress or hormonal issues so I think it will come back again anyway. I'm just hoping Rogaine can speed it along.

Be careful of any pills for men. I looked into it and supposedly it is not for women. If you take it - apparently you can have male chilldren that have female characteristics (whatever that means!!)

Get Nioxin shampoo and conditioner. I am using that and know lots of people with thinning hair who use that as well. Haven't used it long enough to know if it helps but some people swear by it. About $30 for shampoo and conditioner.

Also - take good vitamins religiously and eat enough lean protein.
I now take a Biotin supplement from Solgar which is supposed to help (according to some doctors) (Really inexpensive and I haven't heard of any downsides to taking it)

Good luck
