I don't have any pics form Halloween but I am proud to report that this year we had 16 trick-or-treaters!!! That's 12 more than last year!

we only had 4, and they were all teenagers full of shaving cream.

I live in Queens - very different than the halloweens when I was a kid in LI. Although in fairness I personally think that most families are doing the alternative Halloween thing now - where they have parties/ go to shopping centers/ close off blocks and have parties. I hear these things more often.

It's just so sad - all that chocolate is calling my name.

my fh was so cute when he bought the candy. he bought candy that's low in points so i could have some in case we have a lot left, which we do. he got the mini toostie lollipops. 3 of them r 1 point eat if u follow w.w.

i didnt buy any candy, all the kids here go to stores as well. its not safe anymore i grew up on LI too and always had the BEST trick or treating... so weird how things change so quickly

I was telling my FH about Halloween when I was a kid - seems like he and I had two very different experiences. I loved Halloween on LI (granted it's the only kind I know). I do feel bad that he doesn't have stores of the bag getting so heavy it would rip.

I was a naughty cop this year, I have pics at home, will try to post them later, I love ur costume and Tinkerbell's...I wanted to dress my dog up, but she'd probably eat the costume a nd not wear it

I got to go trick or treating in this swank neighborhood in LA (Manhattan Beach) since my friends rent a small apartment there and have a young son. The adults in our group were more excited about seeing these awesome houses than the candy! But after a couple of blocks my FH said it just depressed him since we probably will never afford something like that. It was like trick or treating on a movie set. The adults walked around with appetizers and glasses of wine. It was amazing. At least I learned where to take my kids someday!

I worked on Halloween by choice- the girls and I all had an 80's theme we had tons of trick or treaters and they had the greatest costumes! We had such an awesome time! I have the most fun job in the world! Very spoiled!
