NWR- but I got a new job!!

Yeah! I have been looking for a while. I was so bored and unhappy with my firm- and severly underpaid. I am making a $35K salary jump. It's hard to fight the temptation to spend it on the wedding, but I am going to put some extra towards the honeymoon!!!

Re: NWR- but I got a new job!!

I'm an attorney- but definitley not one of those high paid attorneys. I work for a small firm and have really good hours, but got paid accordingly. Since 9/11 (we were 1 block away and lost 6 weeks from work) and a breakup in the partnership of my firm, we have not had raises since I started, in the end of 2000! My boss couldn't even argue when I told him I was leaving. He just said he hopes I come back when the firm is doing better.
