Holy cow I notice alot of tension on these boards.

i haven't been around alot the last couple of weeks and when i came back - WHAM! the tension hits you. i think some people just like to make trouble.

Some people take offense to other people's opinions! Opinions are just that - completely subjective and obviously not everyone is going to agree!!! It is getting out of hand.

Edited to say, I find myself holidng my tounge alot these days.

I think the boards have setteled down considerably from last week, but they are still not how they used to be. I have found myself ignoring certain posters/posts because I can't stand the bickering and back and forth.

I think any forum where a lot of woman are talking about their weddings, one of the more important days of our lives, there are going to be strong opinions as well as differences of opinions. Unfortunately, the differences lately have not been respected.

Then there is the issue of reading into what people are saying - that will often to lead to misinterpretation and miscommunication.

I come here to hopefully pass along some information that may be helpful to a bride to be, just as I received when I was planning our wedding.

At the core this is a wonderful place and an invaluable resource to planning a wedding in the LI/NYC area.

I have been trying to stay out of those posts and sticking to the ones with the great info with people who I feel honestly want to help me have a great wedding.
