NWR, but More Drama with the family
Sorry so long, but I'm frustrated...
I have to go to my Cousin’s Birthday party today, which in any given situation other than the one that has been created I would be more than happy to go. My Aunt Shelly and two Cousin’s are up from Florida for the next two weeks (Does happy dance!). On the 4th of July, my Aunt Pat called and said that my Grandfather’s Wife (Her sister in law, my Aunt Shelly stepmom) called and complained that Shelly is so ungrateful, Adam (my cousin) is having his birthday party over here on Thursday and she never even called to talk to us.
Whoa! Back Up There? What party on Thursday? When, Whre, WHY?
My cousin had joked around with my Grandfather’s wife, two months ago about it and forgot about it. Not only that, but wouldn’t any responsible person with half a brain ask the parentof the child about a birthday party? She had no reason to call my Aunt Pat and she had no reason to call my Aunt Shelly ungrateful and get her upset.
Needless to say this is just one incident in a long line of incidents and yes I know it isn’t the end of the world, but something is going to give soon, I can feel it. Grandfather’s wife is a very cold and nasty woman. She says and does hurtful things, but than turns around like my family are the ones to blame. I’m so tired of seeing my aunts and mom cry (My Grandfather has 4 daughters.) and I am most of all tired of her being so manipulative and spiteful.
I have to go to my Cousin’s Party… but am really dreading it. Need hugs ladies…
And I will let you know if I freak out or not later on…
