I was shocked to see it this morning... he tried so hard to regain his life after his accident and he passed away from an infection that eventually caused a heart attack

It is sad. I don't know why, totally irrelevant.....but ever since I heard the news, I keep thinking of this Muppet Show episode he was in. It's been haunting me all day.

I know! I couldn't believe it when I heard....
I was also shocked when I realized it had been 10 years since his accident...

So sad but he was able to do so much after his accident.
Stem cell research is so important and that was his #1 crusade. Through his work maybe some day more people will survive such an accident and walk again. One of my dad's doctor's (dad is partially paralyzed) told me a lot of the re-hab my Dad got came directly from Christopher Reeves petitioning insurance companies. to a brave and courageous man.
Your post made me realize - what a beautiful legacy he will leave behind...
