FH says if we have a girl it has to be Bertha. He says no guy would go out with a Bertha and then he doesn't have to worry about breaking their legs when they get too close to her.

We like the old fashioned names....

like
Emma
Emily
Molly
Abigail

or
we're a little lost on this...but were thinking of
Paul Richard or
Richard Paul (DH is Richard Fredric Jr and down't want a 3rd....and Paul was my grandfather)
Harrison
Noah
Benjamin

Names that have been used in my life:
Best Friend: Abigail Hope and Grant Benjamin
Cousins: Marisa Jessica and Keegan Bryce
Emily Faye and Ashley Marie

we were just discussing this the other day.
FH is Jewish so we shouldn't really name them after any living relative (right?)

Girl-
Rebecca
I like Kayla but he doesn't. So i told him if we have 2 daughters i can name the second Kayla.

Boys-
Matthew
Jacob (like the nickname Jake for little kids)

(I don't like many boy names)

there were more but i can't remember

I like Ella for a girl and Parker for a boy

I love Ella, that's one of my favorite girls names! Unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to use it with FH's last name, too many La-La sounds in a row.

I like old English and literary names. (If I could name my daughter Eliza Bennett I'd do it in a heartbeat but FH wouldn't go for it either.)

Not too sure, that'll be the next 'planning' after the wedding I guess.

Re: NWR!! but what are names you want to name your kids??

Oh- I have huge lists- every time I hear one that I like, I put it down! I've deleted some but I still have a lot!

We're Jewish so we don't name after the living but all of our grandparents have died so we have their initials to work with although they are only 'M', 'H', and 'S'. But I am not limited to those initials. Also- our last name will be long and very 'Jewish' so I want to try to defuse that with something simple and non-ethnic.

Girl:
Alison, Alexa, Alexis, Amelia, Brin, Beth, Courtney, Danielle, Elana, Hale/Haley/Hailey, Hope, Hanna, Jenna, Julie/Julia, Kelly, Kate/Katie, Leah, Macy, Marissa, Melissa,
Melanie, Mia, Marni, Morgan, Molly, Nicole, Paige, Risa, Riley, Samantha, Sara,

Boy:

Aaron, Alex, Andrew, Brett, Ben, Brian, Dylan,
Ethan, Evan, Jacob/Jake, Joshua/Josh, Jeremy, Jonathan, Kevin, Kyle, Mason, Matthew, Nathan/Nate, Noah, Ryan, Sam , Zachary

I'm a bit insane- I know!

The only name we really agree on is Michael if it is a boy.

We both like the name Katerina if it is a girl - but FH doesnt want to name our first daughter that since it isnt a name from a parent. I refuse to name our daughter after his mom. And FH doesnt want to name a daughter after my mom becuase of issues that exist.

This is not going to be fun. I am praying that my first child is a boy!

Oh - and FH doesnt want any middle names!

If we were to have a boy, it would definitely be Tristain.

Girl is up in the air. Maybe Catherine, I like Alexis or Alexa...

I absolutely love all of these names...got some good ideas.

Ariana Nicole
Amaya Nicole

Luke Anthony
Matthew Isiah

I like vowels for the girls...for the names to start is a vowel and end in a vowel...it's weird. But with A as a first name and N for a middle name and my FH is A last name...The initials are ANA which is my mom's first name so I am definitely going with that!!!
