NWR California

NWR California

So, I'm awake earlier than I have been in probably 2 years, because I'm in the airport waiting for my flight to San Francisco for FSILs wedding!!!

There was a whole debacle about dates, we had originally wanted to get married this coming weekend, but then they decided they wanted to, and we had to push ours back. But in the end, this is definitely better for everyone, and I get a free trip to SF!!

I've never been to California before, so if anyone knows of anything to check out in the SF area, I'd love to hear your suggestions!!

I have my laptop, so hopefully I'll be able to check the boards a few times this weekend, but otherwise, I'll talk to you ladies on Monday!!

I love SF! You have to do the cable cars, in fact, you can visit Union Square and then take the cable cars up to the Fisherman's Wharf. Pier 39 is fun. There's also the Hyde Street Pier Maritime Museum (you can explore different ships for only $5). If you are a chocolate lover, definitely head to Ghirardelli Square. The sundaes are amazing.

Hmmm, if you like museums, definitely check out the Palace of Fine Arts, or the California Academy of Science. They are so picturesque and beautiful, I loved it. Finally, visit the Golden Gate Bridge. My FH and I walked down the bridge for a while, and it was so romantic.

I also loved going to Alcatraz (it was $30 for a nice ferry ride and then a guided tour of the prison which was very cool). That was FH's favorite part of the SF visit.

FM me if you have any more questions, I would love to suggest places depending on your interests! Hope this helps! Safe journey and have fun!
