NWR-Can someone recommend a good scanner.

I know absolutely nothing about these and want to ask for
one for my birthday. Any info. is appreciated.

i would stick with any type of scanner that is HP...

I have the HP ALL-In-One and I absolutely LOVE it. Scanner/copier/printer/fax machine

we have a Canon. It's sleek and very fast. Not complicated at all.

Epson 4990 - I just bought it and the picture quality is top notch. It is about $400.

ETA: It also scans film which will be helpful when we get our negatives.
