Can cardstock go in a printer? Please excuse me...I'm totally new to this stuff.

Yep. Some printers may have a little problem with it though test it out and try feeding it in one at a time.

Agreed. As long as it has a smooth surface it will be fine. If its thick cardstock that you dont want to bend, you will have to manually feed it.
