NWR: Career question

NWR: Career question

I have been really bummed because I graduated with my bachelors and have not been able to get a good job. My original plan leaving high school and through most of college was to be a real estate agent because I like the idea of being able to make my own hours and great earning potential and I would eventually hope to be a broker but then people talked me out of it because its so slow and it takes money to make money, you need a steady income, blah blah blah so I gave up on the dream for a while. Recently I was giving it more thought and I spoke to a teacher from high school and she offered to help get me in with Coldwell Banker where she is working. Right now I work for my Dad so I could do both part time but I'm wondering if it is worth it since I hear so many people fail. I am obsessed with houses, trying to buy one, and figuring out what it takes to buy one and always help all my friends with finding apartments. I just don't know if its a smart move or if I should keep looking for a full time salary job. What do you ladies think? Should I give it a shot or not waste my time?

What is your degree in?

Give it a shot if you always wanted to do that.

At the moment the job market is bleak, so while you may not achieve your dreams of becoming a real estate agent right now, that doesn't mean you should lose hope for the future.

I have my Master's in Education, and while I don't have a teaching job at the moment, I'm continuing to look for one while working in another field. Never, never give up.
