Oh no! I hope you find a home for your cat. FH and I adopted a cat a year ago. We found him in the garage during one of the blizzards we had last year. He was a little baby only 6 weeks old.

My FH's asthma is getting pretty bad because of our babies....but we love them so much, he is just taking allergies pills and albuterol as needed.

I couldn't live without my babies.

I hope you find your little one a good home, i'll ask around.

For the time being can you just try to keep the cat in a certain area away from FH???

Since we just took in this stray plus our old cat theres no way we can help. :(

The one thing that I found out is that if you drop the cat off to the Town of Hempstead shelter in Wantagh they have to take the cat and will not kill it - you just have to say that you found the cat - do not tell them you have been taking care of it - that is what one of the local vets told me when we didn't know what to do with the stray that was on our porch. HTH!
