Approximately how long did it take for you to find out whether or not you got the job after the screening/interview/written test?? I was told that I passed the interview and I was an English major in college so i'm pretty sure I passed the written..Pllleeeassse help, i'm really anxious! TIA!

Well I got letter from Suffolk Civil service for an interview and I am still waiting for a call of when it's gonna be!!!!!!! It's been almost 3 weeks!

I went for this interview last year in june and I got offered the position towards the end of July because their academy started in september. However, I turned down the position for another offer. Good luck!

Thanks for telling me! I did the interview on June 23rd and i'm getting anxious...I was hoping I could start ASAP so that i'd be able to go on my honeymoon right after the wedding...but I'd have to be working for four months before I can take time off....

I hope you don't mind me asking, but what do you do now? I've been looking for jobs but I haven't received any call backs And the jobs that I actually do get are offering like $19,000 a year

The process takes a little bit. I have gotten calls for Suffolk CPS several times. My friend completed the process but I cant remember how long the process was and I also didn't complete the process. I ended going back to school for my masters at the time and before i finished the process I landed a really good job so I never finished. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

Ahhhhhhh this wouldbe a county job. Be patient. My friend works for CPS and I know it took a little bit to get in after all the i's were dotted and the t's were crossed. Go out and enjoy because that is a rough job. Good luck!!!
