What is everyone getting their FI's this year?? I am so stumped, I wanted to do something different

We decided just to buy the kids and forgo our gifts to eachother this year, due to the wedding!!!

beer brewing kit! But all the supplies are so bulky and the whole thing weighs 65 pounds! Even if I have it sent to my FILs in NY where we spend Christmas, we still have to lug it back to MD!

We're going away for a week together instead of exchanging gifts. We've done it the last couple of Christmases. It's actually the best present he could ever give me, some relaxing time someplace warm

I'm with you. I can't think of anything. I have been wracking my brain. I thought cufflinks, but now I think that's not really something he would really be wowed over, so it's back to square one....

We're not exchanging this year, we just don't have the money. I'll buy for everyone else so they don't lose out tho.

my FI is a huge steelers fan so i got him a steelers pullover and a jersey of one of the players he likes. i'm also getting him a game for either his playstation 2 or gameboy. plus lil stocking stuffers.

i got him some clothes so far, but i want to get him something esle. we said not to spend a lot, but he keeps saying how he has my gift picked out and dropping hints like its something nice, which i hope he is just kidding bc we are so poor right now. i don't know what else to get him. ~lacey
