She didn't give an eighth of the speech Michelle Obama gave....not that they're running for pres, just an observation..
agreed....without stating my stance on the election, I think she could've given a much better speech...more in depth and more politcally detailed. True SHE is not running for pres BUT the first lady is a very big underlying piece of the government and I was not impressed by her.

Well said, I didn't want to give my stance either. She didn't say anything to 'remember' and it was actually boring...

Cant put my finger on it but something just seems alittle off about her.
I agree...today I was listening to a radio show and found out her outfit from last night including her Cartier watch and jewelry cost a grand total of $300,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But she wants to be regarded as 'one of us.'

Her speech was typical fluff that all the speeches really are at the conventions. They are supposed to basically be America's introduction to the candidate ( and his wife ). However, I saw the movie yesterday about her and her life story is amazing. She has actually done SO much with her time and money it is amazing.
She works with Operation Smile and also Mother Teresa's orphanages ( where she adopted her daughter from ) and also doctors without borders type of organizations.
I think she is a classy lady, I love her look.

Vanity Fair 'expert' estimate:
Oscar de la Renta dress: $3,000 Chanel J12 White Ceramic Watch: $4,500 Three-carat diamond earrings: $280,000 Four-strand pearl necklace: $11,000–$25,000 Shoes, designer unknown: $600 Total: Between $299,100 and $313,100
Vanity Fair makes the disclaimer:
All prices except Laura’s shoes and Cindy’s watch are estimates, and the jewelry prices are based on the assumption that the pieces are real.
