My future mother in law tells me yesterday that I should get rid of my clowns in the house...i only have two (one paper mache one fh and i got in cancun, and one boyds bear clown figurine)
WHY I ask??? she says cause they are bad luck and when there are arguements/problems in the house the clowns laugh at you and bring on more problems...
Has anyone ever heard of this superstition? I must say i believe in things like this, BUT I have never heard of this one and would hate to get rid of them just because...........sooooo help me out here if you know anything about it

Yes, actually my family believes that! We would never have them in the house....ask me why? no clue...they just said they are bad luck.....Old School.

I've never heard of that - but clowns creep me out anyway. FH bought me one once as a gift, and I cried when I opened it.

I've never heard of that one!! Actually my step-mother has a collection of clowns. I don't think they've ever laughed, she and my dad seem to be happy!!
