Does anybody live in Farmingville and take the Ronkonkoma Line to Manhatten everyday?
If so, is it really bad? How long does it take?

I used to do it before i transfered to queens and my mother has been doing it for 15 years, I f you get the express from ronk to penn it's 1 hour otherwise it is about 1 hr 30 min during rushour. It's really not bad I am actually looking to transfer back into manhattan.

i used to commute from Stony Brook to NYC... i would have much rather been closer to the Ronkonkoma line!

I did it from Stony Brook to Brooklyn for two years, It can get exhausting. I enjoyed the ride though, got work done, read books, etc.
