Re: NWR : Condos on LI
FH lives in one on the Queens/Nassau border. We really like it - a house seems like so much responsibility! All we do is pay the maintenance dues and throw out the garbage in a communal trash room. The downside is that you can hear everything your neighbor does!

Re: NWR : Condos on LI
My FH works in NYC and I work out east in Mastic Beach, so we will start looking for something in western Suffolk.. we also want a condo or something, preferably to buy, not rent. We are going to start our search soon, but I don't really know where they have condos/townhomes, etc.. to choose from.

I would like to buy a condo. I want to be more in western suffolk. Not as far out as port jeff and coram.

Great Neck is pretty popular for condos and co-ops. Lots of buildings around there. Cute town with good restaurants and the LIRR ride is 20 min into the city.
