I did the same thing last night. I think there were a total of 4 men in the theater, and it was packed. I loved the movie and cried a lot!!

Re: NWR: Dear John
lol I LOVEEEE Channing Tatum from when he modeled for Abercrombie. FH can't stand him and says he's the worst actor.
Who watches him for his acting?!

Re: NWR: Dear John
i saw dear john but i was kinda disappointed. They hyped it up to be as good as the notebook and i didnt think it was. I thought that the love twist was too far fetched

I agree - she was TOO involved with the other guy after she was SO in love with John. Did you read the book?

I find that 80% of the time.. the book is better than the movie. If I can help it, I read the book before I see the movie, so I don't get turned off at reading the book.
The Notebook is my favorite Nicholas Sparks book, so I may be a little biased.. but The Wedding was amazing.

Re: NWR: Dear John
I have to say, The Notebook movie vs. book is pretty comparable. This one is in the 20% category where the movie was actually awesome!
I re-read the book after I saw the movie, and actually liked it even better. I think there were a few minor differences, but nothing that sticks out in my mind.

I want to see the movie, but I think all of Nicholas Sparks books are better then their movie counterpart and there is always something different from the book to the movie, but I still want to see it!

I think Channing Tatum was perfect as John. Then again, I'm pretty much obsessed with him. So gorgeous.
