NWR: Debate

NWR: Debate

Seriously, it scares me what this world will come to if Obama is elected... I do not want a socialist running this country. He talks about change, yet I haven't heard a single PLAN for this so called change...ohh.. wait...except for socialized healthcare. Guilliani said it right... 'Change is not a destination just as hope is not a strategy.'

I am stating this now...I am neutral, I have my beliefs and will not push them on anyone nor will i say what my opinion is...that being said...

Politics is a very touchy subject...We all have opinions and we will never agree 100% of the time. We also cannot speak for the entire country or people other than ourselves. Lets just try to not be so blinded by our own views that we forget some basic kindness to our fellow citizens and their opinions. Be open to hearing things and try not to cram your belief down other peoples throats.
Thank you
(ok i am done now...love all of you girls!!)

I'm not ignorant - I'm just not obsessed with all this wedding crap 24/7! It is refreshing to see that 3 of us are capable to think about other things than our wedding! But, what's the harm in a little healthy debate?

used to be into politics hard core and even participated in a few campaignes...(victory parties are fun!) but now I think after the gore/bush/florida mess I have lost a little faith in the system as a whole...without saying who you wanted to win you must addmit it was a mess!

I don't want to say who i would rather to be president in these boards...but the debate was horrible!! and both contenders aren't ready to be president in my opinion you have an old guy who could die any day god forbid and who will replace him?? this lady!! that has no clue what's going on...and the Other contender which is more of a celeb and less experience. I will surely vote but I don't belive these 2 individuals are ready and NO THE WAR IS NOT GOING TO END if you choose either or there are other parts to the war and it's not easy to just end it!

i never said u were ... their are alot of ppl in this world that are very one sided and cant hear the anyone else if they arent saying what they want to here.....

The point is that whoever is elected will have a hard time ... the whole we are in is dug pretty deep ... and it will hard for anyone to take us out of it

ETA : btw i am the least obsessed with my wedding ... and im pretty sure all the girls on here know that

I agree, my faith has been lost. The next president has already been bought and paid for. The electoral college is an antiquated system that needs to be abolished so we as a country actually elect the president, not the ones that have paid the largest sum.

Re: NWR: Debate

yup the most of the public is educated enough to make a decision...its not like the 1800's when the electoral college was in place because people werent even literate enough to read the ballots! that system needs to be gone cuz in reality like amanda said our votes dont count its the college that has the final say
