NWR: Did anyone see Nights in Rodanthe

OMG talk about sobbing!!! I never realized that Nicholas Sparks cannot write a happy ending! Sheesh! He is 3 for 3 in movies to make me cry: A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, and now this one!

If you're going to see it, bring a box of tissues!!!

I saw the movie, because I LOVE Nicholas Sparks. I've read all of his books. BUT i have to say I was really disappointed in the movie. I didnt think it kept that much with the book.

I saw it! Yes it is sad! They changed a lot from the novel though. There are a few happy endings in some of his novels. The second newest one 'The Choice' has an amazingly happy ending. 'A Bend in the Road' has a great ending also as does 'The Wedding' and the 'The Rescue'. His books are amazing! I have read all of them and I am reading the one that just came out at the end of September now!!

Oooh thank you for the tip! I think I am going to start buying his books, b/c I really do like his stories, even if they do make me cry LOL! I was also impressed that Diane Lane kept her clothes on in this movie (sort of), and there wasn't a graphic s3x scene like she tends to do!

I've read all his books too and this one was one of my least favorite! I'm debating on seeing the movie..might just wait until Dh gets the bootleg for $5! haha.

The Notebook and A walk to remember are amazing....but message in a bottle wasn't that good.
