I was just wondering. It'd be funny if any of us connected as camp alumni... only problem is I was at camp when many of you were being born probably. Ha ha!

I went to Hofstra Day camp for drama Summer of I think 83 and 84.

I went to Camp Blue Bay in the Hamptons (girl scout camp) summer of 84 and 85.

I went to Maple Wood Day Camp from 1985 till 1989 or 1990. Then I went to Merrick Woods until 1994 or 1995.

Anyone else???

Oh, I went to Maplewood too! And I probably went about the same time frame.

Wouldn't that be funny if we knew each other or were in the same group!

DITTO!! well i wasnt a camper there-but i was a group leader and counselor for 3 summers...junior travel baby!!

i'm a WHDC girl too!!! went there for 10 years and then a counsler for jr travel too!

lyss4525 - was your father in charge of the teens years ago?

I never attended camp but I worked at the YMCA summer camp for a bunch of years.

I didn't grow up on LI and Queen's kids don't do camp LOL

Maybe Queens kids don't, but I dated a Manhattan guy and he said EVERYONE from Manhattan attends camp. Ha ha!

Luhi Summer Programs - for like 10 summers, I also CIT'd there and worked as a ref at bball camp :)

I've been to camp kenwal. Not as a camper or counselor but to visit a student on my case load (I'm a special ed. consultant). The camp is huge and everyone is so nice. Really nice place!
