nwr: digital camera

I want to get a new digital camera for our honeymoon. I love the way canon powershots take pictures.

Can someone please recommend their camera to me? Model #'s appreciated :)

I am shopping too, can't wait to hear what you ladies think. I am contemplating one that is underwater, too, but not sure!

FH just bought me a Nikon - Coolpix 12.0-Megapixel Digital Camera Model S570- I have only used it once ( I only got it last week). Real easy to use and takes beautiful pics

I have the Cannon powershot if you want one that's compact and easy to carry around. I love it.

Instead, why not just get the waterproof case to go on whatever camera you get? I have one for my old Sony and it was awesome. I used it to go snorkeling in Key West. Now I have one on my registry for my Cannon.

I have a Canon PowerShot SD980 IS and I absolutely love it. My FH is obsessed with photography and is looking into purchasing the Nikon D90 for our honeymoon, its double the price of the powershot but the pictures it takes are to die for...I still love my canon though!!

i agree with this. i had an underwater camera, and while that feature was cool...i felt the quality of the everyday pics were sub-par

I used to have Canon... but since i got my Nikon D40, i will only use Nikon's from now on...

I have the Nikon Coolpix L6 (I don't think they may it any more - but it's awesome) and got the underwater case for it which takes AMAZING pictures!!!

FH has the Nikon D200.

We both love our Nikons!

I have been through 4 cameras already this year.. and this last one KODAK M863 is awesome! I love it.. Although for my birthday next month I want the new one with the screen on both sides! SAMSUNG DualView TL220

I had the Coolpix. Loved it! It was my favorite camera.

I have the powershot A100 IS. I like it, but I don't love it. I wish I had spent my $300 and updated my coolpix.
