NWR: digital camera rec's

Of course 1 week before the e-party my digital camera breaks!!!! I swear it's always something!!
Does anyone have any recommendations for a really good but reasonably priced digital camera? I've always had canon's but I'm open for other suggestions. I'd love it to be under $300

I always liked the Cannons. I got FH the Cannon Rebel T1 for his birthday. It is defintiely more than $300 but I LOVE it.

I got it at Cosco and it came with the bag, memory card, two different lenses.... Defintiely check out Cosco

Here is my recommendation - it is from Amazon, but they ship quick or you can prob do 1-2 day shipping.

Canon's are good. It's hard to keep up with what is out there now.

whatever you get, get it off amazon. I have a simple Kodak and love it.

I think my next one I'm going waterproof. My friend has one and she can throw it at walls and it survived. It also will be good for the honeymoon, although my friends said I can swap with them and give them mine for a week to take theirs. we shall see.

I love Canons and I think my next point and shoot digital will be this waterproof one from Canon

Camera

Its not the sleekest looking camera, but it seems like it will be a good investment, especially for snorkeling on the honeymoon! HTH

I thought so too!! It seems to do so much and can be used to up to 33 feet underwater, which is awesome!
