FH birthday is this week and before we go out with all our friends I am making him dinner. Now he's a chef so I want to make something really good and different. Does anyone have any ideas? He eats basically anything and I am not worried about me liking it!

if hes a meat and potatoes kinda guy you can make surf and turf... with garlic mash
if he likes chicken you could do a stuffed chicken with some veggies
if he likes pasta-- you can do a seafood pasta mixed with all kinds of seafood clams mussels etc.-- or even a pasta with different kinds of pestos, or sauces.
you can have a fun taco night -- with all the fixins and make some margaritas to go with it
you can do a yummy turkey cheesy meatloaf
just some ideas off the top of my head

I have a really great recipe for seafood risotto. I made if for FH the first time I cooked for him and he lovvvvves it! I also made it the first time I had his parents over for dinner! Let me know if youy want the recipe.
