NWR: do we have any nutritionist/dieticians on here?
Okay so... I'm drinking loads of water.
And since I've been on the ol' weight loss road I've read a lot of conflicting things about how much you should be drinking.
The old rule is eight 8oz glasses.
Then I've read you should take your weight, divide by 2 and thats how many oz you should drink. So a 140 lb person should drink 70 oz a day.
Then I've read that you don't even need to drink 8 8oz glasses because there's water in everything you eat basically.
I drink... like...tons. Not because I'm thirsty just because... I like drinking. Keeps my mouth busy and I'll drink water, crystal light or diet soda just to keep me occupied away from calories.
But I'm just curious as to what a dietician would say about water intake?

Juno didn't live up to the hype.
I can't help you on the water intake though.

Not a doc/not a trainer but I can tell you from what I know...
you should be drinking water through out the day. A glass before meals prevents you from overeating, a glass after to digest and whenever you're thristy. replace your ice tea, coffee soda with water too. So thats what 6 bottles a day? I drink more than that typically...

OMG - I rarely ever drink - its sooo bad, I KNOW - I need to get into the habit of this...I only pee like twice a day - which is nice because I HATE going to the bathroom in places other than my house - and I work 12 hour days like 4 days a week! But its still not healthy!
