NWR: Do you lease your car? Please help!
Re: NWR: Do you lease your car? Please help!
I never go to my service for Ford, I take it to Mobile and get the oil changed and all that good stuff. The last time I took it to the service they charged me 180!!! Never again!
Re: NWR: Do you lease your car? Please help!
Thank you. I am so mad. I just want them to hit the button and leave me alone - get that light off. Ha ha!
Re: NWR: Do you lease your car? Please help!
its just a switch that has to be hit- if you bring it to a mechanic- they should be able to do it without you having to have the service hth
Re: NWR: Do you lease your car? Please help!
I would just go to a regular mechanic, i stopped getting my oil changed at my dealer cuz they were a rip off and it always took them hours and hours to do something that takes 15 minutes!
Re: NWR: Do you lease your car? Please help!
try a different honda dealership, i have a leased 07 honda crv and dh works for honda in pa and he said he never heard of them charging you a fee.
Re: NWR: Do you lease your car? Please help!
Do you have reciepts of all your oil changes to show proof? Just so you can say you have been having the regular maintenance done
Re: NWR: Do you lease your car? Please help!
I am probably the worlds worst leaser. I never get anything done ontime and they never harrass me. They cant force you to come in and get service from them. You can go where you want. How do they know you cant do the service yourself. Alot of times FH changes my oil, so i dont have records. As long as the car doesnt break due to something i didnt service than its fine.

09'er crashing. Have your FH detach the battery and restart the car- the code will clear out. If he doesn't know how to do this, go to Auto Zone, have them scan it- they do this for free. Then if the code comes up as a service code, ask them if they can clear it and throw them a few bucks.
