NWR: Doctor rec near Hauppauge / Commack / Smithtown

I am looking for a good general practioner. I live in Hauppauge and my current Doctor is in Garden City and not worth the travel.

Any recs are appraciated.

He's really good but he runs late alot so I always try to get an early appointment with him.

I definitely recommend the offices of Drs. Belding, Franco, Gleason and Dragone in Smithtown at 9 Brooksite Drive. Dr. Franco has been my doctor since I was little and I love all of the other Drs in the office too. They have a new Dr. (Dr. O'Brien who is a woman-- her first name is Kristen). They also have two NP's (Kevin and Mona) who are the BEST. I never have a problem getting an appt, they have walk-in hours weekly. The office is nice and no matter who I go to I always get the best and most personal service. I can't say enough about them!

Dr. Franco is such a nice man that he even came to my Grandmother's funeral a few years ago after she passed away from cancer. She was a patient of his and it's just nice to get that kind of personalized care from a GP. He's a good man. Here is the number: 631.724.1331.

I go to Roxanne Cafora...she is located on Vets Highway in Smithtown.

Agreed! I think there are 4 or 5 Drs in that practice, and they're all female! Dr. Carfora is great, and I really like Dr. Aida Becker too.

Try Dr. Friedmen in Commack his practice is Healthline of Commack on Commack rd.. he's been my doctor ever since I was little..hes great ..he also has an assistant that works with him that is just as great

I COMPLETELY AGREE...office staff is great and docs are awsome too.....I have been going to Dr. Franco since I was little (probably for atleast 25 years)...love the man to death.....
