Even though I love being with FH. I defintiely get more accomplished when I shop alone. Anyone else agree?

Oh I agree! We went to the grocery store to get like 3 things and we wound up there for an hour and bought about 50 things!

my FH is the opposite. before we even walk through the doors of the store, he's already begging me to end it quickly!!! he HATES shopping! so yes, i do prefer to go alone so that i don't feel rushed to get out!

It depends, I like to go grocery shopping with him but I hate clothes shopping with him because he rushes me so much!!!

I enjoy his company however sometimes we are not very productive. I can get a lot more done when I am by myself or with a girlfriend. He gets concerned with 'when can we leave?'...

At first I HATED shopping with him, but not because he hates to shop, it's because he's SO picky and we would disagree on stuff and it would drive me nuts!!! But now I love to shop with him! It's actually fun and I look forward to it!
R U KIDDING!!!! He's worse then any girl I know! We went to shop for sneakers once.....ONCE and never again!! We were there for 2 hours. He tried on every sneaker in the store. I was like...can we go now? It's a sneaker!!! Thank God he is not interested in wedding planning bc then I know I would have to shoot him

Ditto....except he doesn't rush me...but he's one of those people that stand shoulder to shoulder with you at the rack....you move left, he moves left. PLUS...he has no opinion on any clothes (except stuff that I could not wear in public ) so he really isn't much of a help

OMG Can I relate!! FH spends 10 minutes deciding between 3 boxes of cereal!!! He says that he needs to compare to make sure he's getting the right one

ahaha good to see I am not the only one. Yes fi is alot worse than I am with shopping, he can shop for hours and shop WAAAY more than I do. I like when he comes along because hes very honest with his opinions.

I don't mind shopping with him. What's been a pain is been asking him what I should buy members of HIS family for christmas. Everything I suggest is answered with an 'Ummmm....I dunno...I guess they might like that.' Like that makes me feel good about buying anything!!! He's lived with these people his whole life. You'd think he'd have a small idea of what they like!

def food shop alone .. the first time we went i didn't have a list .. he got mad and waited in the car ... so i took longer now i go alone and love it ... as for other store shopping we will go together but i can't really look .. i get rushed so then i have to go back but i don't mind ..

I hate clothes shopping with FH. My best friend and I even have a term for when they creep around behind you in a clothing store. We call it lurking...

FH and I both hate to shop. Therefore, we are incredibly efficient shoppers. He's great to shop with - especially food shopping! We divide and conquer and get it done in the half the time. If we're going shopping for anything else, he does tons of research ahead of time and basically knows what he wants when he gets there.
When I get indecisive, he follows me around as I wander through the store for what I want and offers suggestions.
I have to say, shopping is easier with him. I think he's the exception, though, and not the rule!

Yes but only because we have different shopping styles...I avoid clearance sections like the plauge because they honestly REALLY stress me out (and I'd rather pay a lot for thing that I think are worth it than nearly nothing for stuff that I don't really want, need or like) and he likes to bee-line to the clearance section and buy things he'd never consider unless they were WAY on sale... and then he gives me grief when he has a million bags and I have maybe one...it drives me nuts

FH & I can NOT go to the grocery store together. I don't know what it is, but we cannot walk out of Stop & Shop without a fight. We can do clothes shopping, or furniture or wahtever but never groceries.

I hate shopping for myself with FI, he tries to help and picks out the ugliest stuff. But for anything else I don't mind, we still get things accomplished.
