Take him for a walk in his carriage. That should knock him out.
yeah when i first started watching him i would walk in the heat for HOURS no joke because as soon as he fell asleep and brought him in the house he would wake up..... the car too! he falls asleep but as soon as the car stops he wakes up
maybe put him in a swing then for a nap. Seems like he likes the motion and thats what comforts him. Might work better than putting him in his bed for naptime.
as for nighttime, some babies need a routine to feel its time for bed. Many people will give the kid a bath, change their clothes, change their diaper and do something else after also to let them know its time for bed. Some babies like being patted on the back, every baby is different so just have to figure out what he likes and what helps him sleep. Maybe doing the same for naptime, changing the baby instead of having the clothes on that its been playing in.
Does the baby seem to be in any discomfort, maybe it can be teething problems

Re: NWR does anyone have and infant????
Our baby was colicky for the first 4 months, and would only fall asleep in a swing. Towards the end, we had it set to max (6) because anything less wouldn't put him to sleep heheh Also maybe try putting a few drops (2) of lavender essential oil on something soft/absorbent, but that's not IN the crib (might irritate his skin/eyes). Sometimes worked for my baby as well. Ugh good luck! I still remember those days and wanting to tear my hair out. Oh and one other thing. Are you sure he gets enough to eat? When Allen would go thru a growth spurt and required more food, he became very cranky and wouldn't sleep well until we adjusted his feedings.
